Sorting & Grading

Our Sorting and Grading process is the foundation of our premium product standards. We import credential clothing collection, sorting raw materials into detailed category mixes. Our experienced staff inspects items to ensure they meet our strict grading criteria:

  • Grade A selection (excellent color, no stains, like-new quality)
  • Grade B selection (minor wear, wearable clothing for budget markets)
  • Clean, hand-sorted clothing, bags, shoes, and household linens

4 Star Used Clothing provides clear, documented grading criteria and sample bales on request, so buyers know exactly what each container contains before ordering.

  • Weather-resistant, durable poly-wrapping wrapping
  • High-strength metal bands to guarantee bale structural integrity

Frequently Asked Questions

What is your Minimum Order Quantity (MOQ)?
Standard MOQ is one 20-foot container (approx. 8-10 tons). Buyers new to the trade may request a smaller trial shipment where available — ask our team.
What payment terms do you accept?
Telegraphic Transfer (T/T) with partial advance payment is standard. Letters of Credit (L/C) can be arranged for larger or repeat orders.
Can I get a sample bale before ordering in bulk?
Yes. Sample bales and photo/video verification of stock are available before you commit to a full container.
How long does shipping take?
Lead time depends on production scheduling and destination port; typical ocean freight transit is a few weeks after loading. We confirm exact timelines at the time of booking.
What if the grade received doesn't match the order?
Every shipment is documented and, where a pre-shipment inspection is used, independently verified. Report any discrepancy with photo evidence within the agreed claim window and our team will work with you to resolve it.
Can grading and mix ratios be customized?
Yes. We tailor category, season, and grade ratios to your target market on request.
Do you provide export documentation?
Yes. Every shipment includes a full documentation set — commercial invoice, packing list, bill of lading, certificate of origin, and fumigation/disinfection certificate.
